Open a new window or tab on your web browser, go to https://dashboard.meraki.com and log in.
Step 1: Follow these easy steps to configure your APP
Follow these steps to generate an API key and enable API access into Organization:
Login into your Meraki Network administration dashboard and go to “My Profile” page.
Top right of the page, click on the email address.
Scroll down the page and click on generate a new API Key. Store the key in a safe place (it will not be readable anymore).
Now go to Organization menù and click on Settings. Scroll to the bottom and tick on Enable access to the Cisco Meraki Dashboard API.
Click on SAVE.
Login into VAPP Enterprise
URL : https://aws.v-app.io
Username: will be provided
Password : will be provided
Login into VAPP Enterprise and complete the configuration page which can be reached by clicking on the gear icon in the left bar.
In the General Tab paste the previously generated API Key
In the MT Sensors Tab:
* Select the organization
* Select network/s
* Select the device/s to enable
Click on SAVE.
Login into your Cisco Meraki Dashboard
URL: https://dashboard.meraki.com
Follow the following path: Network – wide > Environmental > Overview
You are now on the Environmental sensors page, scroll down until Alert profiles. Click on Create e new profile.
Now set up the conditions to trigger up your sensors. Scroll until Alert conditions and activate sensors by inserting values.
You can set up the Notification recipients by email and/or SMS.
Click on SAVE
Create a Webhooks
Follow the following path: Network – wide > Alerts
Scroll down until Webhooks
Choose a name of your Webhook
In the URL field paste the following link: https://aws.v-app.io/rest/iot/hook
In the Shared secret choose the secret word
Click on SAVE
