A hackathon to improve General Government.
Starting from Saturday 4 until Tuesday 7 May 2019, the city of Naples in Italy will host Hack.gov, a kermesse focused on the digital development of the public administration. The event, which will take place in the two locations of the Apple Developer Academy and Teatro San Carlo, will give the opportunity to two hundred of young international talents to test their creativity by challenging each other during a hackathon of 48 hours “day & night” whose goal is to propose technologically advanced solutions aimed to smart cities, energy efficiency, healthcare, safety, protection of art heritage, digital public services and fact-checking.
As Cisco Meraki Eco System Partner and thanks to the experience acquired in the use of the Meraki API, we will have the privilege of being part of the Cisco’s mentors team that will support the competitors from the Digital Transformation Lab of Naples and the Portuguese and Spanish Cisco Networking Academies engaged in the “Digital public services for large areas” challenge.
That’s an exciting challenge, that will see us once again bringing our skills into play in an extremely innovative international context.
At the end of the award ceremony to be held at the Teatro San Carlo in the presence of the Italian and Portouguese presidents along with the King of Spain Felipe VI, we will post here the report of the event.
Meanwhile, fingers crossed for us and good luck to all the participants.
